My plate showed up today. Time to take the paper one out of the window. It'll look better with the 50 years frame than paper but still. It's not so new anymore.

Wait

It still smells that way.

At least now people won't think I'm showing off my new car when I park out all alone. They'll think I'm just anal. They'll be correct then.
I'll park a mile away.....they still find me *eye twitching*
We took mine out with some friends the other night; sat where we could see her & parked at least 20 spaces away from everyone... Sure enough, within 5 mins. there was one guy taking her picture :D Thankfully he didn't get too close.
Then, about 10 mins. before we left, here comes some schmuck in a really dirty, beat up Outback who decided to park right next to me - way away from the door, with at least 5 - 6 spots closer to the door open...
Oh, and it gets better ... he has toddlers in the back seat! AAARRGH
Thankfully he opened their door for them, but I looked it over VERY carefully when I walked out to be sure he hadn't touched it....
Really? Have some respect man!

Long story short ... I hear ya!

One Toke Over The Line

Still waiting on Transport, but I drove my Honda to Pizza Hut last week, to pick-up my lunch order (2nd shift) and parked away from everyone I could. Parked as close to the line as I could, as I didn't want the guy to my right hitting his door. Went in and came right out. On the way out, I saw a women and her two kids heading in to the Hut. Got to my car and saw her Ford right next to my Driver's Door. Oh oh, I better look. Sure enough, a giant door crease perpendicular to my horizontal crease. Waited for her to come out and sure enough, it was her car. Asked her to open the rear door. Big piece of clear coat was lodged on the edge. Matched up perfectly with the ding in my car.

She said, "Well, you parked over the line!"

Talk about crumb-crunchers!

Me with my door open, trying to estimate the location of the ding, based on how far the door on my car swings open!

Hey SVTFreak, where did you find the navigation SD card? I have yet to see mine. I've only found the certificate, standard owners manual, wheel locks and key, and floor mats. I feel like I'm missing some things. Can you help me out? PM if you like. Thanks!
