In the end the General Manager apologized and made it right.

That's awesome to get an MSRP deal in the Bay Area, I was able to get MSRP at Ford Store Morgan Hill but was the only one around I could find.

Congrats! I tried to work a deal with Frontier Ford but they were talking $20,000 over and didn't want to budge. They also had two of the LE GT's for $20,000 over at the time.

Very impressive getting one at MSRP and congratulations on getting the car!

It's worthless because I did say I can't get down there until sat. Well I wish I could say it was easy getting at MSRP but I had to go pretty high up the food chain to make them honor there word. Guess I'm old school when you shake someone's hand and give them your word that's a deal. They got 5 and yes, he waited to give me the 5th. Guess it was there way of getting back at me. I didn't mind the wait so it didn't bother me. The GM is a good guy but yes, I heard they where getting 20k over.

That's odd... I was there yesterday picking up some brake fluid and I didn't see it on the floor. hmmm.

I had put a deposit on a future delivery of an identical car from Frontier Ford, back in February. They demanded 20K over back then. I then spent a day on the phones searching for cars and picked my car up in Texas later that week for a whole lot less. Congratulations on getting a realistic price from them. Good work! Nice to know of more GT350s in the area.

Now if I can just get my GT350R built...

Well when he called me I think it was Tues he said he had one on the floor. He said mine was in prep so it wasn't that one. Well I'll be down Sat to get mine I'll see if it's there.

Ok picked it up today and will get some pics soon. Chassis no#G4017. White with blue over the top. The other one I mentioned lasted 5 hours. A guy came in and traded his GT500 and I'm sure some cash for it. Yes, they have been getting big money over MSRP. The GM who is a good guy said he was " praying I didn't buy the car". I know some guys don't like to talk about it but the car was 64k out the door. Almost 48k as a base add the 1300 gas tax, 475.00 for the top strips and 7500.00 for Tech package and our lovely calif tqx and license and delivery cost ect. And there you have it.
I have to say I'm pretty sure I didn't follow the proper break in procedures because a new Camaro and I had a little fun on the freeway. Stopped looking at the speedo at 100.
