It's a happy day for me, having waited 5 months.. so far... I just received my VIN from Stacey, with a build date of 05 Dec.... :hail:
Checked to see if I had a Window sticker and YES!!
Build date on there 08 Dec...... My mustang is soon to be born. Only another 4 or so month and it will be mine!! Can't wait. Although its probably best I don't get it over winter, wet and cold not a good idea for a first drive in a new car! :eyebulge:

Congratulations on the happy news ;)
I take it you'll be waiting til April to register, given it'll probably only arrive a few weeks ahead of that anyway?

Congratulations - after build it will be 3 months max I reckon probably less, unless of course you are waiting until April to register it.

Some want the tax reduction ;) (yet will find out they probably have to pay £1k more!*)

*Because OTR only includes 1k VT, not 2k (Which it will rise to), but YR/YR tax will be down from mid 500s to low->mid100s

It was for the TAX benefit, you have to own it for 3 years though to make it balance out. The £2k up font makes it worse if you are not going to run it for 3 years or more.

I will probably keep it for 5 years or so..... Problem is I will probably want to change it after 3!
Spec'd a Fastback GT, manual, Ruby Red, Black interior, all extras but not as a pack, did not want chrome. Can't wait. :)

My original car (may it rest in piece) was built mid December and I was driving it on the 13th March, so about 3 months from build to delivery and pick up.

Strange thing is, my dealer confirmed that the price on the invoice is the price I pay no matter what as I did enquirer as to if I'd need to pay an extra £1000 with the higher first year tax post April 2017 and they said no, price on the invoice is what they expect me to pay. My presumption is that they're wrong and will want an extra grand on delivery.
