Nothing major couple of paint defects around the joints of the roof... normal ford :frusty::frusty::frusty: Visit tomorrow

But is this rear bumper gap normal ? there's a gap from the seal

Also a bit of flake glass on the rear windscreen you can feel it, is this original dealer issue or warranty.. Do I leave it or would it cause me issues

Problem may be with the flake on the glass is you've singed off on the car? So be prepared for that

Still reading about horrendous issues pre MY18 which are really putting me off an order for a MY19 but I’m hoping there aren’t any major issues with MY18

Should be fun I was to eager to get out didn't even notice the glass till after of there I knew the paint defects will be an after job anyway did shock me a little the joints but not to sure of the mind the gap

Go over it with a :eyebulge:for the money you cant get anything as close the when you put your foot down.

MY19 might be a while still not opening order for the UK yet

It’s the nature of the internet/forums that people who have issues will vent their frustrations there. What you need to bear in mind are the many owners who have no issues at all.

Whilst there are certainly a fee ‘teething’ issue weakpoints, don’t tlet them overshadow what is fundamentally a great car.

I note you have a Boxster. From the same Porsche stable the iconic 911s are renowned for having a crank oil seal issues - but that doesn’t seem to put people off!

All that said, the price hike for MY18/19 cars ‘should’ be reflected in the quality of said product - especially as a brand halo model.

Thankfully, most ‘niggles’ as relatively easy fixes (pony mirror projectors, boot rubbing, panel fit etc)
