So I've been trying to install the UPR dual valve CC all day and I've ran into a few walls. The only thing I'm stuck on now is mounting the catch can itself. When trying to tighten the ground strap bolt it doesn't want to catch, almost as if the bolt isn't quite long enough with the catch can in place. If I remove the catch can the bolt goes in fine. If I remove the ground strap then the bolt goes in fine as well. It just seems like the the bolt isn't long enough to go through the catch can and the ground strap and still screw in. Has anyone had this issue before? I went to Lowe's and picked up a longer bolt but it's a little too thick.

I haven't had that problem at all. Is the fender well tapped or is it one of those little clips? I can't remember, but if it's a clip, try to pull it out and close the gap a little bit.

Came across this same issue when I installed mine. I moved the ground to another spot pictured below.

I had the same issue with my Bob's catch can. I ended up buying a longer bolt, and the fender is tapped, btw. I tried an Ace Hardware and Lowe's, but the bolt was in between thread pitches.

I ended up having to pull the bolt in a local auto parts store's parking lot, and have them try to match it. Luckily, they found something that matched, and I'm all good.

Yes. This happened to me as well. What I did was unhooked it all, ran the the bolt through the hole all the way until it bottomed out, then reinstalled the can and the ground and haven't had a problem since. Mine seemed to not catch either but it is plenty long enough, I think it's just a cheap bolt that didn't thread real well.

Thank you guys for the suggestions and letting me know I'm not crazy. I was starting to think I was just missing something or doing something wrong.

Came across this same issue when I installed mine. I moved the ground to another spot pictured below.

I ended up doing this and it's working great! If you ever end up in Buffalo I owe you a drink
