Actually looking at the pictures, the bolts are accessible while still installed. Soo a really easy fix......

All I hear is whining. Such is life when you modify cars. Gotta pay to play. They owe you new half shafts nothing more.

Watson snapped a ford racing axle in Florida last weekend.

Edit.

My error. Was a 2k Hp DSS axle that broke.

I got that info from a friend at watson.

Conflicting info from another source RMB (;-)

Could have been a DSS

Any chance you can get some clarification on that? While it is just one instance so far, they add up...

The shafts that they broke were shafts that they made up for their 9" conversion, with the inboard mounted brakes.

I was under the impression that they were not the FRPP Shafts. (I was there hanging around the Watson Pit)

So, while I am not sure who made them....I can say with almost 100% certainty that they were not the FRPP Shafts.

So just take the bolts out one at a time, apply new loctite and reinstall and torque? But I'm guessing the heads of the bolts face the spindle and the diff. Still not a huge deal. Thank god I'm my own mechanic...
Same thing I thought and asked when I got called by Ford Racing about the issue. Apparently it's not that simple and there may be a bit more to it than just throwing some new loctite on there. They are going to cover labor and shipping on all the ones I've done so far so thats a plus.
