Absolutely. I questioned it at first, but after having it done I no longer use my Covercraft sunshade. Only issue using some polarized sunglasses. Get some nice blues and purples. Fortunately I have enough pairs to find one that worked perfectly.

Never had polarizing effect, my polarized glasses ($100 under armer) has always played nice. But my PPF from 8 years ago on my car

when I wear the glasses I can see the PPF as like discolored lol. Polarizing

Last year pissed me off thouth

paid 300 for ceramic80 on windshield

Week later semi three giant rock up from like 30 feet away. Shattered windshield

550 for new windshield + another 300 for more tint. I was salty

it’s 500 deductible for windshield 50 more just paid out of pocket. No claims the better

I have 28% on the 2 front, 70% windshield and 15% on the sides and back. On my 2021 that's coming in 12 weeks I will put 70% on the windshield and 5% on the rest. South florida sun is a bitch.

I absolutely hate window tint. It was on the Porsche I bought and was a bitch to remove. Since I can't hear things, I do my best to maximize what I can see.

New York, max 50%, nothing on the windshield.
I had 40 all around and got pulled over just for the tint.
They measured the window with a meter and handed me a $200 equipment ticket.

So, left the 40 on the quarter windows and rear glass(can't measure it with a clamp on meter!)

Had the 40 removed and did 50 on the door windows. Ceramic, so very heat resistant.

Total on, off, on cost was $500, then the 200 ticket.

Not fond of revenue collecting cops.

Still, the tint makes for a very cool cabin in the summer, can't do shit for the cold, though.

I love tint, glare inside the car i dislike,
personally, i think darker black looks cooler, more sophisticated and posh (or maybe I havent just grown up past age 12 )

in australia, in general, you are not allowed to have any tint on windscreen, and max is 35%side and back, so I do 35% on every car I touch even if its a mazda 121

and if police want to be difficult, they will pull you over to check tint levels
