Too much to go wrong over 18 months waiting for my order so only me, wife and son knew I *might* be getting a Mustang sometime in my lifetime until finally day of delivery.

When my Mustang was finally parked on the drive the neighbours eyes were on stalks !!!

Me, the wife and my mate in Houston knew initially, as I needed him to take me to a US dealership. Then my parents found out. Then the wife let slip to another mate's wife. As it stands I've had the thing a week and there are still less than a couple of dozen who know about it.

I'll give you sad: printing off someone else's Window Sticker and pretending it's yours for a few minutes - that's sad! But you only did it because you're still waiting for your feckin' sticker even though it's two weeks since you got your VIN and your supposed build date is 3 days way!

Ordered my car in January and have this stuck on the wall at home.
First thing I do when I get in is cross off another day...

(Car should be here in advance of the nominal 9 month delivery date).

Sad? Yes. - Although you're not alone in this company

It seems like such a long year. Definitely worth the wait.

For me it was a year, but I tried to forget about it as it was just so frustrating. The last month was probably the worst - especially when you know it's built but has to fanny it's way from Flat Rock to your dealership via Timbuktu.

...but when I got to walk into the dealers last week to pick it up - and and saw it sitting there waiting for me. Finally. Mine. Frucking hell. YESSSS!!!!!

Took public transport to the dealership last week to collect our car so better half got the ride home too. As we arrive the dealer is just leaving to fill up a Fiesta he's handing over after ours so he says go have a seat in the lounge and he'll be right back. Walked in past a sold DIB with silver stripes then spotted the demonstrator so went over to have a look through the glass. And what was lurking in the background?
