Is this normal with bumpsteer kit?

I have steeda bunpsteer kit installed and I’m not sure If this is related to it but I assumed it was. When I first get in the car and turn the wheel there is a thump noise and I can also feel it in the steering wheel. Sometimes it happens every time I turn the wheel for a minute then it goes away. Seems to be worse when it’s colder too. Is this normal?

Could the tie rod end spherical bearing be fully loaded to one side instead of the rod end being "level" on the bearing? Then as you turn your wheel it knuckles over kind of like an over center toggle type situation. The bearing unloading itself could be what your feeling. Is this even possible? @steeda


Having a hard time explaining what I'm trying to say lol. That's the best I can do ATM.

Can you get your car up on ramps and snap some pics of your left side / right side bumpsteer setup? Maybe something will stand out visually.

Did you install the kit or have it done somewhere. If so, where?

I had a suspension shop do it. They specialize in imports but work on all cars.

Not normal, Something is loose or not installled properly. Have reputable shop investigate,
