So I was at a social gathering and some people were looking at the car.

I was running through the mods I have made and someone said "So what you spent on her then" I looked at the ground and sai "Err about 5k" As I looked around to see if the Mrs was within ear shot.

Then someone said "Look those wheels"

I said "Yeh, sod to clean though, I am changing them next year for some 20" five spokes I am getting from the States"

Everyone looked at me like I had a problem.

I didnt mention the rear spoiler that I had put on that I am taking off for the one that is on its way from the States

Its making me feel much better talking iot through with you guys

Crazy isn't it, my neighbours will see me taking bits off to paint, bonnet up etc after work, and all come past like 'What are you changing now?' they think i'm crazy! Nobody quite gets it, everyone seems to think, buy a car, keep it the same, eff that, time to be unique and get it >EXACTLY< how i'd want it
