Those prices and dealerships are absurd. I paid less than 40k for my fully loaded GT Premium with auto, nav, spare tire, reverse park, 3.55, etc.

There will always be people out there that have no sense and will pay these ridiculous markups rather than go search out another dealer who wants to build a relationship rather than score on one car. :frusty:

My dealer isn't marking up any of their normal 2015 stock, but they do have an LE in the showroom with a $25K mark up.

Morgan Hill is inland from me and I almost went there, and to San Jose.
I would have immediately walked away if I saw that markup!

I lucked out getting mine...did not even order it.
I was watching a small dealer in Watsonville and their site said they had one coming in. And there were others around the area that I assumed this dealer could get.
So finally they got one GT in. It was Guard with Performance package so I went there to test drive and see if they could get me a black GT (without PP) from San Jose that I knew was in stock.
San Jose would not give it up.

Meanwhile I was sitting there staring at that Guard thinking it was a really cool color and thought the PP included was cool too.

The sticker was $35,715 and I didn't want to spend that much.
So they came down $1000 off sticker then gave me another $500 off for Black Friday. And of course after I drove it that was all she wrote!

So they being a small dealer lot I feel they treated me well and I felt like I got a pretty good deal. They did not have that car on their lot even a full day before I bought it. Perfect timing!
