I'm not quite sure how I twisted your words? It sure sounded to me that anyone that has a newer model car and modifies it without chrome isn't a "true craftsman". Real car guys at real car shows you're gonna see lots of chrome...Stop twisting what I said into what you want to hear.
Yeah, new cars look so terrible with chrome.

Just like the all black steel wheel murdered style, too much of anything is bad. The window surrounds, grill, taillight trim etc of the LE is perfect. A set of nice chrome deep dish would look ok. Much more wouldn't. All black is same way. Too much makes car look gone, not evil. Makes it look like painted steel wheels and unfinished.
Just like life, everything in moderation.
Sorry, but it's MY opinion that chrome looks tacky. Just like you think only "real" car people have chrome on their rides. The cars you pictured look awesome, but I'd still get rid of that stupid chrome trim around the windows.
