I went a little different direction than the IPAD, but used same mount idea with the magnets
Its nice to see people are trying different spots, but I personally am not a fan of that area; doesn't it cover up your in dash screen with all the options?

Yes it does cover up the existing screen, but I don't see anything on the numerous menus that is useful when you are driving on a daily basis. The only screens that I used on my Camaro, VW's and Silverado was instantaneous MPG and digital speed display. The rest of the menus are trivial and don't see much of a use for them.

I can't understand how Ford came up with 10++ screens, but left out the real time variable that matters the most, SPEED. I actually find it annoying to have useless information displayed directly in the center of my dash view when I look to see how fast I am going. I nearly cut out a piece of flat black cardboard to cover everything except the cruise control and blinker displays before coming up with this display.

Is that an app? How does it know the MPG for the car?
I might use that idea when I'll get an accessport or whatever it will be, to show me boost and what not.
Links for the magnet?
Thanks.

Fair enough, I don't even have my car yet and I wished it had a digital speed readout.

I had the same issue with my ST Last year on this. It makes me wonder if Ford actually does peruse these forums to get what the user wants.

Lsstefan, yes this is an App named Torque. I am running it on my Samsung Note 3. It connests to a $20 Bluetooth OBD II sending unit that plugs in under your dash. Install takes 2 minutes. The sender had access to ALL the variables in the cat and you can display all of them on your phone or tablet via the Torque app. It is pretty neat to be able to change this as you wish, while always keeping your Speed front and center.

Is there something like this for iOS?

EDIT:

Found ODB Fusion on the App Store. Has anybody tried it yet?
