I have got many comments actually :D. But I would like to qualify it with the fact that I still love the C7. It is an amazing car, but I would do this flip all day, every day.

1. The ride of the GT350 is far more comfortable.
2. The C7 is very tight and 7 speed tranny is not intuitive at all. The 6 speed is a dream to work.
3. Much easier in and out.
4. Far greater visibility.
5. The exhaust note on the C7 is amazing. Yet it does not even compare to the GT350.
6. The C7 certainly feels faster.
7. Both seem to get similar attention (each person can decide if that is important to them).
8. The GT350 feels more stable.
9. The GT350 is really way more fun. It is not nearly has herky jerky and just has an amazing smoothness about it that I really appreciate.

There is a big difference in price. I wondered to myself if I was downgrading from the C7 to the GT350. But I come up with a resounding, NO.

It depends on what each person cares about, I suppose. IMHO, a big part of the price difference is the technology. The C7 is completely electric. The doors, the e-brake, the entire thing really. I do not particularly care for that. The only real tech in the mustang is the display console.

I prefer the analog of the Ford. And I assume if the mustang had the same tech, the cost would be far closer. To me, the way the cars feels and drives in terms of quality, is more important the a HUD (even though I really liked that feature).

The vette is absolutely stunning to look it. It is much more a sports car. I prefer the lines and look of the mustang, whish is far more muscular to me.

I am more of a Ford guy, but I am not a fanboy by any means. I would have been perfectly happy with the C7. However, to me, there is no real comparison. I far prefer the GT350.
I agree with most of your points on the C7 vs the GT350. The GT350 is definitely faster than a stock C7. It's not even close. The GT350 is MUCH easier to get in and out of, especially if you are a big guy. The C7 with MRC corners better but without MRC, the GT350 feels like it corners better. The C7 does not have the "tramming" problem the GT350 has. The M7 on the C7 is not a bad gear box. It's a horrible shifter. MGW will fix that.

My GT350 gets a lot more attention than my C7. C7's are a dime a dozen where I live. Have only seen 1 other GT350 on the road.

You can get into a C7 at about 50k for a 1LT. You're not getting a GT350 for 50k even at MSRP.

The GT350 sounds better. Even with headers, the tone of the LT1 is no where near the sound of the GT350. Thsi is due to the firing order. the Mustang's have always sounded better than the Corvette in my opinion.

My C7 was not stock for long. Even with 700 RWHP, I have more fun in my GT350. I still have trouble keeping the RPM's above 3500. The LT1 had gobs of tq all the way through the rev range. The GT350 comes to life at 3500 RPM.

Some people look down on Corvette owners. I've been spit at and given the finger for no apparent reason. Some think only rich snotty people own Corvette's. I don't feel the same hostility with the GT350.

All in all, I'm glad I sold the C7 and very happy to be in the GT350. I did not have the same luck you did on getting a good number on your C7 or getting the GT350 for MSRP.

Congratulations! Beautiful car. Really interested in how you got a "great deal" on your C7. I was low balled everywhere. I finally found a dealer willing to give me the lowest offer I could take. There are hundreds of brand new 2106's at 20% off since the 17's are out. Makes getting a good deal on selling a C7 very difficult. Glad it worked out for you.
One way to get a good price on selling a C7 is to use the instant cash offer from Kelly Blue Book. Long story short back in June I got a $54777 offer that was $4777 over local offers. I used it to buy my 16 350 tech @ MSRP .I got that Vette for just over $52K. I was lucky the Ford dealer was in the KBB program. So the numbers allowed me to basically buy the 350 below MSRP.

Both cars are great cars and enjoy them each for the performance they provide. My only regret is that Ford should have had all 350's come with the coolers and let people choose their options. Like the 17's.
I know I know maybe should have bought the track option ....but there were none around in the area. Most dealers ordered tech cars. Plus after attending the North America track tour by Ford those Recaros would not work in the long run. "Tight as hell"

Yes, that is a major reason I waited for the 17. I also agree that the Recaro's are not for me. I'm a pretty big guy at 6'3" and 280 lbs.

Looks good. I'm really liking the stripe delete on some colors of the GT350.
I've got to tell you, I'm very strongly debating putting blue, white or gray stripes.

I love the car like this. But I fell in love with the stripes long ago.
