So has there been any update as to whether these will fit the MGW shifter, which requires 12 x 1.25 thread?

Someone had it done, I forgot exactly what he did, but it worked.

I'm installing mine tomorrow (MGW owner as well).
Up a couple pages is the info for the MGW. On my next revision with the machinist I will make the receptacle slightly larger to accommodate the MGW.

If you order a knob without the recess you shouldn't have to worry with the MGW, that's what I did. Course I'm still waiting....

I planned on using mine with the mgw.... so this knob isn't going to work with it unless I destroy the collar from mgw?

I'm going to take a couple and bore them out to the proper size (34mm)

It looks like Ajax modified the stock collar, because it's 30mm.

Ajax - if I open the collar up to 34mm and keep it at the same depth will everything work properly?

rainier446 - yea if it doesn't have a collar it'll be perfectly flat on the bottom, I'm assuming that will work?

If you can, bore mine out. I have a MGW too.

Yes it'll work, the MGW knobs and others I've used are flat. The MGW uses the old style push down lockout vs. the new pull up collar.

Would you rather use a bored one to the proper size? It's 2mm, I think I can achieve it pretty easily on a few I've got here.

No thanks, I prefer the full knob over the bored one.
A: It's more weight.
B: It fits the MGW style with their jam nut better.

Finally got it installed last night. I think the jam nut is one turn too tall. The new knob sits pretty high due to its size. I'll probably remove the jam nut when I swap over to my Barton and just use thread lock.

Once I get mine I'll snap one, I foresee it looking exactly like every other round knob lol. The MGW jam nut is a nice piece and looks factory.
