Being a FPC motor, has there been any chatter about any company possibly trying for a dual throttle body manifold setup? Or a MASSIVE single blade that could let the runners breath harder?

Ford Performance is supposedly working on a 100mm throttle body.

With manufactures needing to up there game every couple years or so, a dual intake, Ferrari, Lamborghini system should be in the works. It would sound very different than the current setup. How cool would it be to up the Italians at their own game? It is a great time to be a car guy/gal!!! :headbang:

The reason Ford went to the up down up down FPC vs the traditional up down down up FPC Ferrari and others use was because of not being able to package dual intake plenums on the car. I really don't see how you would be able to squeeze two throttle bodies on there unless they were tiny and there would likely be no gain due to the harmonics of the engine.

There is already intakes made like you want. Google coyote sheet metal intake. The 5.2 will peak at a slightly lower rpm than they list due to the extra volume.

You can always go CJ manifold with the large mono blade throttle body like the 170mm Whipple monoblade. Only issue then is who wants to tune anything other than a stock throttle body on the GT350 as the electronics are different on the 350 (part of the reason for the delay with the 2.9L Whipple kits, had to machine a throttle body that accepts GT350 electronics).

The sheet metal intakes can be custom made if you contact the builder and tell them what you want, but be prepared to spend $3k+ or so for the manifold.
