Hey all, who do you use for insurance. I have been running quotes through gocompare for the last month and it seems to increase every time I requote. Insurance is up on the 5th. Best so far is 525 with Axa. 36 10 years NCB 9000 miles.

LV through (I think) money supermarket. It was a multi-car with my wife's BMW, and the bit for my Mustang was just over £400 with lots of no claims and I'm mid-50s, but it is for 8k miles with Business use.

A-Plan, Thatcham branch. Around £300 with 9/10 years NCD. I'm 50, north east Scotland, 4000 miles/year.

I too found A plan - Thatcham to be the cheapest and easiest

I always check on comparisons sites but most don’t like the mods , this year I used Aplan Thatcham branch as they deal with all the mods and was also the cheapest for me , could have had it for £275 with no mods from more than, but with the mods Aplan was the best @£479 limited mileage 8k and your no claims doesn’t seem to matter to them.

Cheers guys: Morethan want 776! Gocompare have offered the same AXA policy for less and are loowed certain modifications like a stainles steel exhaust!

See if adding a spouse makes a difference. I've never added my wife to any of my cars before as it always hugely increased the price, but for some reason it saved me about £150 by adding her to the Mustang.

A Plan - but phone the Thatcham office. If you are in SMUK they will give you a discount.
I was with Admiral but these guys were cheaper.

Good to know. I've been with Admiral for many years, great customer service - always very competitive when you call and speak to someone. Been cheaper than anyone else by a hug margin for me! Will certainly try A Plan when mine is up in December.
