I didn’t know that, it absolutely helps. Love itDon’t know if this helps you visually but GT350’s with the black roof do not come with stripes on the roof.

Very well done. Color choice is bang on too, love itI ordered the Big Work kit and my daughter and I put them on. Not hard if you follow their directions and take your time. The kits come with every single piece cut to fit. Only piece you would need to cut would be if you add the 1/4 pin stripe to main stripe. Very easy.
My guy said the big issue for him was getting the stripes to form properly with the roof and down the back bumper. Their curves are multidimensional. That kit looks really nice on there. As Turning Blue was saying, I was thinking along the lines of "if they aren't too expensive, does trying it myself make sense and removing if it ends up looking bad" . I think given the size and how I know I'll feel if there is even a slight issue with the alignment, it may be best to bite the bullet and have a good installer take the lead.
They no longer do installs, called them a little while back, they stated they had lost their installer.Call Big Worm in Dallas. They do installs and should be able to give you a price. I am curious myself.

Good starting point.
The kit is much harder to install than it looks. I paid my striper more than I would have liked. But the outcome is what mattered to me.
I also pulled the grills and rear deck for an even tighter fit.
Bummer. They no longer do installs, called them a little while back, they stated they had lost their installer.
I had my "Factory" stripes removed and painted on in 2020 for 4k. Best money that I spent (after I bought the car).....My guy said the big issue for him was getting the stripes to form properly with the roof and down the back bumper. Their curves are multidimensional.
He is a hand pinstriper among other talents. He lays down the same full stripes for my paint and body guy to paint on.
The mustang would run $5000 min. for my stripes painted on. Of course you are repainting the both bumpers,Hood, spoiler, trunk and roof.
Giving the Mustang the a true show car finish. Putting to shame the $10k GT500 stripes from Ford.
$5k is really not a bad price come to think of it. His work is perfect
And your top section and bumpers got a real nice extra clear coat job.I had my "Factory" stripes removed and painted on in 2020 for 4k. Best money that I spent (after I bought the car).....
Factory worse in some way. Bigworm (and others) use off the shelf cast vinyl. Basically, the color is all the way thru. Ford stripes the color is a thin layer "printed" on top Like the photorealistic graphics on the sides of company vans. I can only guess Ford uses printed because that lets them get any color and even multiple colors on a sheet while cast vinyl can only be a color the manufacturer makes in bulk. That lets Ford have stripe options to match specific Ford paint colors. So, probably more expensive to make per set due to the extra cost of printing. But printed vinyl has a shorter lifespan than cast exposed to the elements. And the factory stripes are no better.IMO
Yes, very true. My company van with a high quality wrap is starting to crack in places after about 5 yrs. Which is normal for printed vinyl.Factory worse in some way.
