I like what you're saying about the keypad vs a toggle switch. My fear would be that a keypad would be obvious and then you know where the wires are that you now have to defeat in order to start the car. Some of the best ones I've seen were toggles worked into a random switch in the car from the factory. So you'd need the key, the clutch in, and say the passenger window switch up, then press the button and it will start. Although those big toggles next to the start button would be tempting, I think they would also be obvious.

The cable is going to run into the center console, by the e-brake--not much way to know what it's connected to without tearing the interior down. Will post pics this weekend.
