Install Daytime Running Lights ?

Has anyone installed aftermarket LED Daytime Running Lights on their car? If so, what did you get and where did you install them on the car? I dislike the dim stock daylight DRL's. I do not want to change the stock DRL's, just want to add new DRL's. Thanks.

If you mean the Tri-bar DRL in the headlight, you can swap your OEM boards for the new version of Diode Dynamics, they are now really bright :

you dislike the dim oem DRL? They are pretty damn bright as it is. Even the Dioed ones are same shit but you can change the color. You do have to bake the lights open in order to install it.

That's for the first version of their boards (RGBWA). The link above is for their new version without the color option (switchback boards).

They provide over 1000 lumens per headlights. That means they are really bright and good visible in daylight.

They will require the headlight housings to be opened up. Professional installation is highly recommended, but we have talented authorized dealers throughout the country.
