Info on changing rims

I have a 2016 mustang that has the 17 inch silver wheels and I want to put 20s on it. I've read about changing the value in forscan for 726 12 01 ..I've read stories people could relearn pcm etc..my question has anyone done this without that happening and will a relearn be required ? Thanks for any info

Depending on the overall height change on your new wheel combo, you may not need to recalibrate. I didn't on mine, and I was off maybe 1mph. Not worth worrying about in my opinion.

What size did you have and go with and you didn't get a wrench or MIL? Mine are a 235 55 17 and want to go with 255 35 20 on rear and front didn't decide yet

the height difference is 1/8". Not worth worrying about. A new tire vs worn height diff is that much.

Here are the numbers if you're curious...
There's some handy sites where you just plug the numbers in and they do it for you.
But compprep is correct, there's very little difference.
