Info on 2018 order

Anyone on the Canadian side of things getting moved around on their Ford order? I placed my order back September 1st was supposed to see it around December, then (they changed it to March) and still no VIN.. yet all sorts of orders I see on the American side placed months after mine already getting VIN #'s and build dates.

Any reps on here that could maybe help me with some info? Would be greatly appreciated.

Check with your dealer if they have allocation available for your Mustang. My car has been built first week of January that's the second week for retail order built. My dealer is a big Mustang dealer so they get many allocations.

If your dealer don't have enough allocation you can wait a very long time. Even if you don't have a vin the dealer is supposed to have a built date if he doesn't there's a problem.

I place my order august 28th, shipped from Flat Rock between january 8-10 and took possession January 19

Ordered mine in Oct 2017, got my ecoboost 2 weeks ago. My dealer said that GTs were coming somewhere in March 2018

I have had several talks with the dealer, the last real word about it was they were allocated (as of Dec 15th) 14 mustangs with a build date in Feb (no specific day) and delivery in March... Being that its Feb 7th now if they were being built this month would they not have VIN #'s already?? My guess is with no VIN yet the chances of a Feb build are slim.

I have been staring at my "Vehicle order confirmation" for far to long.. Lol

Yeah, I didn't even have a VIN number to look at until my dealer called that its here. You'll just have to wait it out. Should be here latest late march.
