Inconsistent Steering and Popping

Does anyone else's steering feel inconsistent in terms of how heavy it is to turn? I put the steering mode in Sport mode and sometimes it feels lighter than Normal Mode. I also noticed today that if I am turning the steering wheel and I push the button to change steering modes, it makes a popping noise when it changes. Is this normal, or is anyone else having this issue/have any ideas what it could be?

That's not normal, mine doesn't pop when I change steering modes.

It doesn't do it if the wheel is straight, only when it is being turned. I'm sure it's not normal, but the dealer near me is terrible and will take advantage of any chance they get to tell you something is "normal".

Yeah should not be making any noise. I give your credit for knowing to not waste your time and avoid that dealer.
