Ford financing makes dealers peanuts. They rather get you financed through the local bank or credit union and get a much nicer kick back from them than Ford.
When Ford financing can beat the 2.25% that USAA is offering on a 60-month loan, I go with Ford, and I can care less who gets the kickback. Whoever gives the lowest APR (the best deal) wins. :bump:

Unless youre looking at a 36 months where they offer a 0.9%

Right now we can get people financed for 1.9% up to 72 at 2 different local banks , plus the kick back they pay us.

I would guess by January 6th the Ford Credit rates will be 0% for 3 year loans and 1.9 for 60 .

1.9% at 60 Months and I wouldn't even shop around. In my area the lowest I have seen on 60 months is 2.39% with 1.49% being the lowest I have found on 48 months.

I cannot find anything lower than 2.74% in Florida, if I could I will pre-approve right NOW and not go through with my current loan. Lets not derail the thread, back to fighting off the haters!

Can I take advantage of both the .9% for 36 months Ford financing and the current $500 Ford rebate?

Unfortunately No. The $500 is not compatible with the 0.9% financing.

One of the lowest rates you can get is through JP Morgan Chase. On a new vehicle for 60 months their rate is 2.74%, BUT thats giving your dealer a kickback of a 1% that you should try to negotiate and get them to sign you art 1.74% for 60. And get the $500 rebate on top of it! :D

Ok I need help. My dealer is telling me that if I use the xplan pricing and the special 750 rebate that eaa has that I cannot get the 500 dollar public rebate- is that true? Thanks

Pretty sure your dealer is mistaken. When I log into the x-plan site using EAA credentials it shows me the 500.00 incentive and I have the 750.00 rebate. Maybe they can't be used together but I can't find anywhere in the fine print that says so.

Well, since I'm not getting my car (on order) until at least February, I would guess Ford Credit would have something like that going---- plus new and larger rebates!
