is this the made in china version of sync 3? its cool that it plays videos as you drive, does it do carplay/android auto?

These are made in Hong Kong. It does not have Android or Apple car play unfortunately.

I am well aware of that however Hong Kong is almost its own country with its own political system and currency etc just protected by China military. So while it is governed by china it's its own administrative region.

It's still in the garage. Haven't tried it on the road yet and my JLT filter is in the dryer at the moment so I won't probably get it on the road until tomorrow morning for work lol
