Any info?

No new nav software as of now. Any future nav software would be available to purchase but the current software used is a 2014 edition I believe. We are hoping to be able to offer iGo Nextgen if we can get an order with manufacturer of nav software for those but would have to be purchased from us as it is more expensive.


Software update will be fixing time issues and obd info being in kph and not mph. For some reason 1 or 2 of people testing were still having issues with time. We are not sure why as others it has 100% fixed the issue. Others, like myself never had a time issue with original software we had one multiple test cars. So somehow these cars react differently to the same software it seems.

I haven't tested if nav works with voice commands or not. I have not tested that but once I get a chance I will.

Any chance in getting this test software? I'm scheduled to get the unit tomorrow and will likely install it Saturday. Figured while its convenient to get to the SD card, I could install the new update and offer some extra testing.

I think having an instruction manual or a little tips and tricks guide of some sort would solve some of these little quirks.

After moving the gps receiver from the glove box to the dash yesterday, did a test run today and it all works perfect, gps locks in solid every time, I choose UK english woman's voice for the prompts and it is great and then when I reached my destination simply canceled route and then no nonsense about staying on or whatever it was doing, makes more sense this way anyway.

A huge shout out and thank you to Fellow member x0ayham0x this man helped me debug my unit that has been glitchy as hell since the day of purchase. Fix the clock, now it reads the correct time!

Just wrapped up the install, took about 4 hours from start to finish. I also added padding all over to prevent rattles. Overall the unit is nice. I was hoping Moddiction honored my request to throw the trial software my way while I had the dash apart, but I was ignored.

Things I wish the GUI did:

Displayed the date
Held the correct time (known issue)
Displayed BT audio track information on the home screen
Saved night mode display as default choice if selected
Saved auto-volume settings
Displayed the FM radio track like the stock unit

I'm not looking forward to pulling the dash apart for every update. Its not hard, but it risks breaking clips each time.

I was just logging in to follow up on the tracking number to make sure you got it ok ... glad it made it to you and you got it installed ok!
