You don't have to change the camera you just change the setting in the unit from oem to aftermarket and the little car shows up the camera is the same oem one.
I 2nd this, changing the system setting for the backup camera from oem to aftermarket was one of the first things I did, thought the little car on the screen was cool. :)

For the guys with the backup sensors you should also get the beeps and a visual of the backup sensor also.

How do I get to this setting... menu wise?, I have been in the menu settings a number of times for other things and don't recall seeing this setting.

Oh its the settings you're talking about. You never specified settings, it sounded like you were talking about swapping out cameras to aftermarket.

Has anybody had nav issues as it it's not working at all?
Used it for the first time yesterday for a 120 mi round-trip and it worked surprisingly well.
