The product in the video is to add on a navigation unit to a car with the actual SYNC 3 system from the factory (notice the heated and cooled seat controls).

Ok got the software updated installed. You can now select day/night mode in settings, corrected clock to give 24/12 hour options, temp can be celcius or fahrenheit now and fixed a few other small things. One more update to correct some spelling issues and should be good to go!

I got a question.... on the screen mirroring... it will follow the orientation the phone correct? So if I'm mirroring Waze for example, id have to keep my phone sideways for it show correctly on the screen right?

also, can i turn on the screen on my phone and not it cut out from the nav unit itself?

Yes it does follow the orientation of your phone. I believe on most phones you can lock in lanscape mode though.

Not sure I understand your second question though.
