I actually need a few of each, after taking apart the dash stuff for installing and tweaking the moddiction unit like three times lol.. I lost about 5 of the clips total, snapped it all back together and thought it was secure. I looked through the windshield this morning and could see the top part of the ac vent bezel wasn't snapped up tight against the front edge of the dash, looks really bad and cheap thus the need for the clips.

I replaced a few of the blue clips with the yellow ones I didn't see a difference. Really didn't think about it. They did what they were was suppose to do.......holding the trim in place.

BTW, I noticed a bug yesterday, need to investigate a bit more. When playing music through the USB dongle, and running the GPS, my system crashed and rebooted 3 times. The second 2 times, I can definitely say it seemed associated with tapping the upper left corner to display the turn-by-turn directions, then touching one of the displayed turns. I don't recall if/what I touched immediately prior to the first reboot.
I just went out and replicated, even without a thumb drive in the USB dongle, system crashes and reboots.

Mine did somthong similar and I guess was a bad nav card. Now nav worked till this morning. Nav came on when I started the car so I turned it off. It crashed then black screen and now only vol shows up, screen is still black.

Mine did that once, last week, I did a system reset and it's been fine, except for this issue.

Geez I can't wait to see that happen. This has become a headache .
Yeah, system is a little buggy, but mostly seems with GPS. I wonder if swapping out for Nextgen would be better.

I admit, there are a few things I avoid in the Nav just because I know selecting it will cause the system to crash and restart i.e. reason for changing route...certain things in the route summary menu.. etc.
Most are things I don't really need to use anyway so I've found ways to disable the option (system asking me why I changed routes), or avoid messing with certain screens/menu options.

THe whole nextgen thing annoys me as well. So if we waited and not gotten the first batch we could have gotten the current nav program but now we need to pay for it along with being beta testers. Just me thinking out loud.

Hmmm, wonder if we can start a sticky thread about the known issues, and workarounds until they get resolved.

If the other system hadn't come with the different map software most of you guys wouldn't even know to go and look for updates. Everyone who bought any of these chinese units should have known what they were getting into after reading the forum for the past year or so.

Unfortunately, that kind of stuff frequently goes along with being an 'early adopter'.

Honestly, if they bundle the Nextgen software in the next batch, it SHOULD be made available to us first rounders as a gratis upgrade, as a good will gesture.

Eh, I think some of us would be looking for a Nav upgrade due to the bugginess of the one that's currently loaded. And now that we have seen Nextgen we can't unsee it.
