ok guys same problem started happening again. Now im pretty sure it is the tune. a few weeks after i got a new tune from procharger for the surging i started getting P2006 and P2007. So I replaced the whole intake with all the IMRC parts and the car was ruining good again till today. Once again I am having the same problem and it happened a week later.
here is a video I recorded as soon as it started happening.

Just to let you know if the light is flashing you shouldnt be red lining car. You almost shouldnt be driving it. I would check all vacuum lines and check valves for imrc and i they are good and you sure it is the tune either let them try to fix it or get a lund tune. I had a local tuner tune my car and i kept getting the same codes and surging. He fixed most of it but drivability is not what it should be. I just recently got a lund tune and it drives like stock until you put foot in it. I did have some surging but he was able to fix it completely and have never got the cel for thise codes again.

I say ditch the IMRC intake completely. You won't have to deal with imrc anymore and you will gain a few more HP grom a better intake.

I dont have much knowledge about how imrc work. Where are the imrc valves?
I am really close to just getting the boss intake but want to see if i can figure out what is causing this.
What will i need to install the boss intake?
Any special install kit?
Lund tune and a ngauge?

Im looking to get lund tunned.
The cheapest intake i can think of is a boss intake + lund tune.
gets a bit pricey lol.

a good tune you shouldn't have issues with.

as far as power, we really didn't see a power difference deleteing them

Well i finally got my car tuned at it runs alot better!
The mid RPM range is a lot funner and puts me back on me seat.
I was able to figure out when the IMRC is getting stuck but I still dont know why.
The IMRC is getting stuck if im in 5th or 6th going 80MPH about 3.2RPM and i put it into 3rd and jumps up to 5-6kRPM and a rev it to redline to about 100MPH but the car feels powerless. But if i build the power in 1st 2nd 3rd 2k-7k it does fine. It gets stuck as if it does not have the time to open the IMRC when i dump the car from 5th to 3rd.
I ordered a 14 intake for $70 bucks on ebay should fix it but I would of loved to figure out what is wrong.
I replaced the spark plugs with NGK.
I replaced the Intake and IMRC.
I got it tunned.
feels like its just a vacuum hose either leaking and the IMRC is not getting the signal fast enough or something similar.
beefcake what did you use to delete them?
