HOLY JESUS! Was expecting more of a $50 price range, not hundreds! But then again, even the regular emblems painted black costs over a hundred
If you looked at their website, you'd realize that all of their lit badges are around the same price.

It's not a terrible price, it's just that international shipping kinda sucks, but that's not xlume's fault. Just the way it is.

I'm still tempted, but I'm also possibly doing a pony emblem delete, so I dunno.

Also, it'd be neat for EB owners (or anyone who likes the running pony) to get a red lit badge, put it on the trunk lid and tie it to the brake lights.

That would require another mould to be made to get that finish. If there is enough demand for this we may look at doing it in the future, but at this stage it's Chrome finish, or Gloss/Chrome Black finish only for now.
Kool, if you do get enough request for it, keep us updated. Really like the more subtle look of matte pony.

Exactly what I was thinking. Wonder if you can vary the voltage to dim and bright when braking
I may be wrong but I would think if u would run a normal set of wires to the brakes then another set of wires to the running lights with a resistor from radio shack it should be dim while running and fully lit with brakes

We will look into this option once we get the front Pony released.

Watch this space :)
And then..

:D

I love the way you americans mod your cars, but sometimes it gets a bit exaggerated.. Maybe it's because we never had such an iconic car, but I would not cross the line between 'cool' and 'ridiculous'.

Of course this is my personal opinion  I would like a lit bagde, but only a subtle outline. The entire badge illuminated in the center of the grille won't look cool from a distance.

At the end of the day, most of the people doing cosmetic cars want to be unique from other mustangs. So long as you're tastefully picking and choosing what you want to go on the car, generally it'll look fine... even if it's not something I'd personally do.

And some of course will go overboard and install everything. That's cool too.

Sure! And this is probably why a mod like this seems to much here: because in my area mine is _the only_ Mustang.. in about a 50km radius :eyebulge:
Mine is already unique :clap2:
But I can understand that other places have a different concentration. During my last trip in California I have seen so many Mustangs that I can't believe my eyes :)

Mustang6g Scoop... 1st to know.

I would like to thank the people that have pre ordered...!!! The numbers have blown us away...
So heres the final design...

We have designed it to fit as easy as the oem pony, the instal process will be quick and easy...
Material will be Polycarbon so it will be very tough...

On the left 2008-2013 mustangs with out pins, this design will also be used for the rear Pony with out the shim component

here you will see a shim plate for the 2008-2013 (flat back version of the pony) each kit will come with this the S550 just need not use this piece.

S550 housing with locating and mounting pins

Actually, you would feed it through a diode (or two, or three or whatever it takes, in series)) to kick down the voltage, not a resistor.

Xlume, how many milliwattts does it draw? Can you leave it on days at a time?

I found a way to remove the split washers without breaking the oem pins... Funny enough you have to use a hammer lol... Then pretty much everything same as that video... I dont think wires will be an issue...
