I've got it on mine it sounds okay but could be better. I can't complain much it came on my car from Roush like that. I do want to get the active exhaust adapters though.

My buddy Dave in a MINI will be there...he is a badass driver watch out for him lol. I will be doing PCA Autox in Schaumburg at Boomer Stadium tomorrow. Then next week with BMW at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates. After that season is over :(

But I might be doing full track at Autobahn with LAPS Inc on 10/12

Hi All,

Looking for feedback from anyone that has done business with Golf Mill Ford? I see they are a large dealer that moves a lot of Mustangs.

Are they reputable? Is there anyone specific I should speak to directly?

I am interested in a 2016 GT350 R.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

I started with Golf Mill Ford when I first started looking at the mustang. I ultimately decided not to work with them because the salesman I talked wasn't very knowledgeable about the mustang (plus they all kept trying to push a 2015 on me even though I said I wasn't interested in it). Your experience may differ though.

Also, just a head's up (though I'm sure you are aware) that dealers are only allocated a certain number of the GT350R's, which I would guess that they would all be reserved by now. So you may want to contact them beforehand to make sure they still have an allocation available. I'm not sure they are large enough to have that many allocation slots.

Well PCA season is over and had a great Autox day today to close it out. Took 5th in my class and beat out a Boss 302 by 2 seconds so I am happy for first time out in the GT

Nice! I did well also, 2nd in my class (not sure on overall yet, they haven't posted). Car handled really well, just was very grip-limited with the stock all-seasons.

I have a question for all you Autox people, Im 23 years old and I have always loved cars and going fast. When I was first driving (16, 17 yrs old) I was always getting in trouble for driving to fast and aggressive. Now looking back I can see that I was in the wrong and shouldn't have driven like I used to on public roads and now understand when to have fun and when to be responsible. That being said I have always been interested in Autox, but I don't have any actual aggressive driving experience. So my question to you guys is: did you take some sort of classes to learn techniques and skills? Or did you just start autox and learned as you went? I would love to get out there and compete but I also don't want to make a fool of myself because I don't know what I'm doing.

I plan on getting a GT/PP in the coming months, my last car was a Pontiac G5, so it is a MASSIVE increase in power. I know I have to respect the power, but I also want to learn how to handle and drive with that much power! After all whats the point of 400+ rwhp if you cant use it

I did most of my learning karting, sim racing and autocrossing (a Honda Accord first), and eventually HPDE. I'd try and do an autocross with something that's a little slower first to get the hang of what a car feels like at the limit, and how tires behave. Control of speed and improvement run after run is more important in any kind of high performance driving than your outright pace. Every autocross club I've ever done an event with has many veterans that are more than willing to ride with you, and let you ride with them to help you learn.

This is the 2nd autocross I've done with the GT, and also my 2nd with a RWD car. It's very different to a FWD/AWD, as you can and do rotate the car with the throttle. Being smooth with a high power RWD car takes precedent, whereas you'll often find a lot of speed in throwing a FWD car around to get the car to rotate. Regardless of where you start, humility is key, and you'll have fun and learn how to get the most out of the car by gradually building your speed.
