Full bolt on Ecoboost was fun but just not enough. Wanted more linear power for autox and track without dealing with blow by and spool

Just doing suspension for now, bringing over most of my steeda stuff from Ecoboost. New daily wheels/tires go on today and maybe an exhaust in a couple weeks. Don't think I am going to mess with engine this season as I want to save up for the recaro seats. Stock seats hurt my back something horrible. Should of ordered the car and just bought recaro but wanted to get rid of Eco while I had a good trade in value. Live and learn

If anyone got cloth recaro and no longer like them I will swap my stock cloth seats plus cash

I'm in the NW Suburbs. I'm trying to decide whether to drive my GT PP this winter (and buy a spare set of wheels/winter tires) or just buy a cheap car, but my apartment building only offers me one parking spot.

I drove my Ecoboost last winter and will drive the GT this winter. Traction control is damn good on these cars and with a set of good winter tires I was confident the whole time.

Winter tires make a huge difference. I drive a 1995 F150 Lightning in the winter. I have complete confidance in the truck with the snow tires. Never once did I even come close to being stuck. They dig in and go. I know lots of guys that drive their mustangs in winter on snow tires. You will be fine if you use your head.

I don't know of any storage at the moment. The cheapest places are indoor boat storage. Most of them are dirt floor barns out in the country. Otherwise you can check "U store it" type places. They are like $125-$180 a month depending on the deals you can find. Heated and alarm equip places are hard to come by.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I couldn't find anything cheap except for a couple of garages for rent on craiglist (everything else seems over $100/mo). I just can't decide if I want to buy an extra set of wheels/tires or a 2nd car (and save the miles on my Mustang). Both options seem expensive though.

I didn't see the need for sandbags with this car. The traction control is damn wonderful with the right tires. But i guess it could not hurt. Tis car is very fun in winter...keeps you on your toes and you will do just fine as long as you don't drive like an idiot

I fear all the other idiots and the harmful salt on new paint. Snow tires are worth every penny if you choose to drive it. I recently got an exciting 01 century for winter, and will crash it into a wall if it gets me to mid march. Not enjoying driving is going to suck. Good luck either way.

Currently running the Borla S-Type catback. Absolutely love the sound, but I know that's subjective.
