Boomba..what type of dyno do you guys have and what is your fee for 3 pulls?
We've got a Mustang MD-500-AWD-SE in ground dyno, good for 1500 HP. Fully enclosed as well, you don't have to worry about heat soak or anything here. We charge the following:

Dyno 3 pulls 2WD or 4WD without wide band and boost - $85
Dyno 3 pulls 2WD or 4WD with wide band and boost - $95

Hello guys! I am from Orland Park and have had my Deep Impact Blue GT for about 5 months now. Wanted to say hello and share how my car progresses i terms of mods. So far I just have switched most of the lights to LEDs, got Redline Tuning Hood struts, waiting for a custom plate to come in, and got a Borla S-Type catback today that I hope to install on my car in the next two weeks! Hope to see you on the roads!

Anyone be interested in a JLT intake for a GT or the strut tower brace off the PP. I also have the stock fuel rails with injectors and the intake manifold.

How's the whipple treating you? I went to test drive the GT the other day but it was an auto so I wasn't too happy with it. I keep debating though as I don't know if this 2.3l will hold up for the long term if I keep adding power.

I am gonna talk to a dealer tomorrow that has a base manual GT for $30k. I'm gonna ask him if he can swap my recaros to that car and take my car as trade...if he says yes I might have to really think this over.

Oh also what are you averaging before and after the whipple for MPG? I am at 25mpg every tank so that's a consideration for me if I ever go GT since I drive so much

The Gt was amazing. It loves to Rev which is awesome especially with the 3.73. The sound is amazing. Gotta love when it really growls back at you. The whipple oh my god is amazing. Sometimes I tell myself maybe I should of gone turbos especially seeing a used hellion kit used for 7500 today. But this blower is maintenance free. Just strap it on and go. I was getting around 17mpg all city driving I'm never on the highway like ever lol. My limited highway driving I was getting around 23. With the whipple I'm getting around 13 to 14. But it's impossible not to get on the throttle now because it's so much fun haha.

I should have my car back shortly because I snapped a aluminum tab installing my MGW shifter. It was driveable and based on my shirt drive with the MGW holy cow it's amazing. Can't wait for when I get my McLeod RXT clutch. It's literally gonna make the Mt82 feel like the best transmission in the world.

I'm really stumped...as I use my car for autox going bigger turbo will only make it worse for me due to more lag. If I went with the GT I would have instant on power which is better for autox and track, but will have to demod the ecoboost pray to god they let me swap my recaros and then pay about $5k out of pocket to do the car swap. But I will have a platform that can be built over 500hp which the Eco really can not without swapping the block long term, I will not have to worry about lag during racing also. I have been debating back and forth for weeks now and just can't decide. If this is going to be the long term car I want it to be I just can't see myself dealing with turbo lag after going with a turbo swap. Man I can't make up my kind and every day I stall it's getting more and more difficult.

Once you get your car back can we meet up so I can feel exactly what I am in for if I go the GT route?

I am getting 18 to 18.5 with my Whipple. But do not do not have to do any city driving. You will have to think about supercharger or turbo. Stock GT does not make very much power. Good luck.
