I'm really stumped...as I use my car for autox going bigger turbo will only make it worse for me due to more lag. If I went with the GT I would have instant on power which is better for autox and track, but will have to demod the ecoboost pray to god they let me swap my recaros and then pay about $5k out of pocket to do the car swap. But I will have a platform that can be built over 500hp which the Eco really can not without swapping the block long term, I will not have to worry about lag during racing also. I have been debating back and forth for weeks now and just can't decide. If this is going to be the long term car I want it to be I just can't see myself dealing with turbo lag after going with a turbo swap. Man I can't make up my kind and every day I stall it's getting more and more difficult.

Once you get your car back can we meet up so I can feel exactly what I am in for if I go the GT route?
Renner if you are going to keep long term, look into what Full-Race is doing. They have been working with the eco design for a long time and will be unveiling a twin-scroll turbo at the end of the year. (SEMA I think) Power, stock lag (as in almost none, etc). More power and a lot less weight in the front will be smokin.

Cool thanks for the info. I wasn't aware someone was going the twin scroll route with aftermarket kits yet...now that is something I will have to take a look at!

Once I get it back id love to take you for a ride :). I'm not gonna lie you can definitely feel the whipped up front when breaking. Not as much turning. But my god the power is out of this world.

I believe Bill will have his car here Friday to be put on the rollers at Komet. I'm sure he'd take you for a spin if you could be around.....

Hey man! Awesome! I would love to see and hear your whipple stang. I just got the S-type exhaust on mine and it sounds like a beast. I am thinking of supercharging sometime down the road and your input would be awesome!

What's up guys, just picked up my base GT 6M last night, traded my big turbo Focus ST in for it. Roush axlebacks will be here Friday. Looking forward to checking out some of your rides, I'm not too far from the Woodfield mall area

I love it so far! Haven't had a chance to really cruise around and enjoy it, but I got plenty of time for that lol. It's just got enhanced security and spare tire. Was tempted to go performance package, but I planned to use the base 18s to throw snow tires on. Next spring I think I will go with some Forgestar F14s.

It's quite different compared to the ST. It's weird getting used to the size of it lol. I will say the clutch actually feels lighter and not quite as communicative compared to the ST. Power-wise it feels on par with my ST, it was putting down 340-350whp. But this has power everywhere which I love. And it sounds so much better, I can't wait to get the Roush AB on it. Handling-wise it does not compare to the ST. A lot of that may be due to the all seasons on the GT, we'll see come spring time when I have a new wheel and summer tire setup on it.

Here's the only pic I have so far:

Looks sweet! Love the DIB. Add a few bolt-ons and a tune and you're at 440-450whp!
Yeah the 18's plus no PP are def gong to affect handling. Weight has something to do with it as well. I got 19 rims and no PP. Shedding some lbs too. Ill be upgrading suspension the way I want. I don't autocross, (yet) so I'm not getting too wide a tire for awhile to keep street acceleration good.
