TTT for spare

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I acquired a GT350 recently. I have a spare for my regular GTPP which will accommodate 15 inch rotors. It does not fit the spare tire slot, but peace of mind for long trips has been accomplished. This spare will not clear the front rotors of the 350. I've read a half dozen threads so far. I know we have cell phones and that tire sealant/inflator thingy in the trunk but that thingy does not give me a warm feeling.

My tire guy could not find a suitable spare and suggested a custom built one($$$) or find another factory wheel.

Any updates or anyone come up with any other reasonable alternatives for a spare?

You would think this would not be so difficult. I’m wondering if a weld front runner wheel would provide sufficient clearance.

Me too. Remember it's just a spare for emergency use only ;)

I am in, as long as it fits in the spare well and is <$500.

at first thought it might be cost prohibitive simply because everything we make is a forged wheel. However, if the group is ok with a range of $400-$700 I will definitely ask. With all things production, volume = lower cost. Just let me know as a group what an acceptable size will be since fitting in the OEM wheel well is the make or break. Would prefer you guys tell me what you want, rather then creating something you won’t buy.
