If it wasn't for the S550, what would you be looking at?

Assuming that the MY14 S197 continued for another... let's say two years.

I was looking at a MkVII GTI, Focus ST, BRZ, and the latest WRX or STi. The only thing that would have put up a true fight for my affection would be a hypothetical BRZ STi. I'm honestly so happy that the S550 hits all the right spots.

I was ready to get a C7, but when I saw the new Mustang I thought it might allow to have a sporty daily driver that I could carry my kids in. I'm waiting for the details of the SVT version to be revealed, and then I'll decide which way to go. The new BMW M3 is also on the list, but I am totally turned off by the turbo engine. I'd really like the e90, but the gas mileage is a bit of a turn off. I'm not loving the new STi. I already have a GTI and feel that it's a bit boring. Audi is a bit too soft. The only other four seater I'd really be interested in is the Camaro 1LE. The Cayman GTS has my interest, but it's a bit pricier than I'd like. I am very excited to see how the reviews of this new Mustang turn out.

New Vette, new BMW M235i, or maybe stretch the budget for a Cayman.

Livernois 6.6 engine, supercharged, and then built the transmission in my Raptor. Although an Ariel Atom would be a ton of fun too.

Something on the other end of the price spectrum - a Fiesta ST. I seriously considered buying one this past spring, but decided to hold out.

I've seen this said by other members. To each his own, but a truck being an option to a Mustang seems pretty unusual to me.
It is an unusual cross shop lol. But it is one I will be making when the time comes. Although I will most likely be looking at a raptor. Just have to decide if I want another track car, or something I can go off roading in. I already have 2 mustangs, although they are showing their age now lol, so I am probably going to go with a truck.
