Lol no worries brothaYou were too fast for me Poll took longer to load for some reason
Yea. I know. Look at the Corvette. Almost 70% are Automatics. I figured most GT350 owners are more hard core drivers that demand the third pedal but I just wanted to see what other GT350 owners thought. I keep hearing the manual trans is on life support and will likely die soon. If a car does not offer a manual, I'm simply not interested. They can have my manual when they pry it from my cold, dead hands :cheers:You might get some different results from a different crowd. The traditional mustang owner thinks they are a little more bad ass than the rest and that somehow shifting gears is a big part of that ;). While I enjoy shifting gears, too - I can see the value in performance and economy of modern automatics. IMO, you guys better warm up to it because I don't see Ford offering a 700+hp manual GT500.
Hmm I'm old and my wife only drives manual transmission also. The only auto is my work truck.Autos in sports cars are for old men, girls and pussies.

You missed my point. I'm 51. "Old" is a state of mind IMO. ;)I'm old also and very much enjoy my manual transmission. Back in the day in high school drivers education we drove cars with three on the tree (you young guys that don't know what that means can look that one up) and progressed through the years from that to 4 to 5 and now 6 speeds.
sequential dct? yes please. this was my point. probably good for 2-3 seconds per lap on just about any track.I wish that ford offered a sequential trans. I'd check that box in a heartbeat
some of us actually still have some 3 on the tree vehicles and still love them. :-)I'm old also and very much enjoy my manual transmission.
