Nihil, mine did it, it was infact a misfire, it got bad enough it through a cylinder 3 misfire. I ordered new plugs and it is now gone... interesting thing is the plugs only had a few thousand miles on them?

I might have to try another set and see if its still doing it. its done it stock and ngk plugs for me

My first turbo S550 did this quite a bit on coldstart up. It would eventually throw a random misfire CEL. My current car does it much less often with the NGK plugs

It would appear to me that the majority of the guys who posted here and said they have it are Auto's.. the one guy previously who said he had no issue was a manual so it would seem to be the other way around my friend..

I meant at first before I started the thread since I was manual that maybe it was related to that, then more autos started to speak up in the thread. so who knows, im try denso plugs since stock and ngk have both been giving me the issue and see if that changes anything.

I have a Manual and it does it also.
I'm pretty sure they are misfires. Even after the initial wave of the CEL's the ecoboost had and with Ford's fix, they didn't solve the misfire issue completely.
Looking for some solid advice. it happened on my stock plugs and with NGK's.
Tuner input would be great.

Indeed.. I'm really kicking myself for not getting a manual. Everything I read, everyone I saw said Auto is the way to go with the EB.. and being that no dealers in my area had a manual that wasn't premium, I didn't want to wait another 8 weeks for a custom order.
I think that if I had a PP Manual I'd tough it out. But the GT is always #1 in my book.. nothing beats that sound.
As is tho, this auto isn't all that great, my 0-60's aren't even comparable to anyone's times on here, my economy is terrible so everything I was told would benefit with the Auto has not panned out. I do love the way the car looks tho.. I love those 19' wheels and the black on black look and the EB is torquey which gives a nice kick off the line. But I want that sound.. not necessarily the power, but the sound.. Lol.
I see 3 valve S197's with pipes and they sound SO mean that it makes me think twice about spending all this money on a new EB Lol.. but then I'm reminded of how awful the interiors are and everything is good again.
