Really? Are these test drives going to be done at dealerships??I am assuming, hoping, praying, that the test drives many of us have starting 9/20 are going to happen as scheduled. Can't believe in 3 short weeks we will finally get our hands, butts and RIGHT FOOT on a 2015! Getting pumped![]()
Looks that way.Really? Are these test drives going to be done at dealerships??
Oh wow, I don't think I had noticed that thread. So it looks like dealer stock should be arriving around that time then
At this point I am a little skeptical. Either Ford knew something in early July when they started scheduling these test drives or they were "hoping" the 2015's would be on dealer lots by late September. Maybe there will be a special class of demos/test mules(not part of dealer stock) shipped out to dealers in the next few weeks...just a wild guess on my part :shrug:My Dealer Stock order is still in Order Processing. They are gonna have to hurry if my dealer is supposed to be giving test drives in three weeks.
I think you cleared up this statement with what you posted on another thread. My Dealer Stock order is still in Order Processing. They are gonna have to hurry if my dealer is supposed to be giving test drives in three weeks.
I doubt Ford or any dealer would let a potential customer test drive a vehicle that's a pre-production model or test mule that's not ready to be sold. Keep in mind that a lot of Job 1 vehicles have already been built and are currently being thoroughly checked and awaiting shipment. That being said, I think these already scheduled test drives will follow through, but I wouldn't doubt if the claimed date be pushed back a week or so due to extensive Quality Control. All I know is.. I can't freaking wait lol!At this point I am a little skeptical. Apparently the sarcasm above was lost. The OP was talking about dealer stock arriving by 9/20. My car happens to be my dealer's first stock order, and is clearly not going to be on the West Coast in three weeks since it has no VIN or production date. The linked post is obviously where we stand.I think you cleared up this statement with what you posted on another thread.

No sarcasm intended. Just thought you had found info regarding what you stated on this thread elsewhere from what you posted below.Apparently the sarcasm above was lost. It was probably just the salesman/woman you spoke to. On May 20th, I called every dealer in my city inquiring on placing an order and every salesman I spoke to was clueless on the Order Banks opening for the new Mustang. Yet, 2 of those dealers currently have dealer stock awaiting shipment so I think you should speak with someone else who might know a thing or two.Not looking good for the test drive :( Just called dealer where Ford marketing scheduled the test drive and they have no knowledge of me or any test drives. They were equally clueless on the 2015 Mustangs...ugh. Gonna call Ford marketing back tommorow and give them an ear full...
Not only this^^ but it's almost 3 weeks away yet.It was probably just the salesman/woman you spoke to.
