These words from Brett really hit home for me,

"You never know what is going to happen, so enjoy life while you can. Go for that extra drive, take that extra trip, go to one more track day a year—trust me, you’ll regret if one day you find out that there are no more trips"

As I just got home from Toledo Hospital after having a Stroke, 62 years old fellas.
Were just passing through this life, I'll look at things in a new light..........

Good Luck Brett.

Man, dang! You took that scenario like a champ. I have definitely learned a lesson in humble responsiveness. Ever consider running for governor or POTUS?

Hey, it's a fun group. No harm in dropping in even without a current GT350/R in the garage (mine is gone, too).

I feel your pain! i just ended a 4 1/2 moth ordeal with roush and ford. At first i got the "we cant find anything wrong" then it was "we have never seen this" not until roush had the same issues happening in more of their built vehicles did anything really happen. While not as exclusive as a gt3500r i can relate to your pain.

Sorry to see you go. I'll keep beating the drum that hopes you drop in occasionally, I've enjoyed your contributions to the forum. The GT350R may be gone (for now), but your experiences and insights last forever.

Best wishes on wherever the path of life takes you. Stay safe, healthy, and have fun!

I just posted about keeping mice out of cars, and it makes me wonder if this could have been the source of your problem. If a mouse chews a wire that shorts to another wire or to ground, all the diagnostic tools and minds in the world may not be able to find it because those two wires are not supposed to touch each other. Similar to the odd things than can happen after flood damage.

After mice nested in my CLK55, when I took it out of winter storage, all I noticed was that there was no audio from the radio. Everything else was fine. I checked fuses, etc, and then had a couple of small shops look at it, with no luck. So I scheduled an appointment at the dealer. As I was driving there on I495 in Boston, the engine lost power at about 70MPH for about 3 seconds, and then started back up. (I think the guy behind me called me a Masshole, ironic since I live in NH.) I continued on, and then got a warning that one of my lights was not working. I suspected at that point what had happened. Although the problems didn't appear related, it was too coincidental, so I wasn't surprised when the tech came out and said he had found a mouse house behind the nav system. That of course was obvious, but the same sort of thing could happen in a much more subtle way.

You truly never know what's going to happen. I lost my wife of 42 years just shy of 3 months ago. Live every day to the fullest and tell your wives/girlfriends you love them EVERY Day.
