Weather Man
Persistance is a Bitch
It is possible the improved turbo, OP's catch can mods and a stock tune are just not a good combo.

So i got a call from the dealership they said that the compression in cylinder 1 was low and they put a camera inside and saw scoring of the cylinder wall. If not covered under warranty just for them to pull the head off would cost more than a grand. What should i do. Im really stuck on what i should do.
Try to find a small privately owned shop and ask them how much they would charge to swap a short block into your car. Your heads are probably OK based on what the Ford garage is telling you.So i got a call from the dealership they said that the compression in cylinder 1 was low and they put a camera inside and saw scoring of the cylinder wall. No warranty because of mods.Did u mention your mods? If u did sorry, ford put out a memo recently for this exact reason and sent it to the dealerships about scoring and so on and what to look for
It isnt even worth fixing?Try to find a small privately owned shop and ask them how much they would charge to swap a short block into your car. Your heads are probably OK based on what the Ford garage is telling you.
Ebay has shortblocks for around $1,300. Check your local wrecking yards for a better deal.
Quietly ask VTT if there is anything they could do to help. Maybe they could swap the turbo for a stock unit to help you get back to stock.
You do not want to keep driving it with a scoured cylinder wall. You are inviting a much more expensive repair.
Worst case is buy a $500 beater until you can afford to fix it. Your insurance would be much less while in storage.
Good luck man.

It will take a .010 to .020 rebore of the block, assuming the scratches in the bore are not deeper. If deeper, block is shot.It isnt even worth fixing?
If the Ford dealer tried to warranty, it would be rejected, since you are already identified in the system.A little backstory I was sitting in the parking lot and the car was still running and all of a sudden the car started to emit blue smoke from the tailpipes. I had the PCV gut and I figured maybe it wasn't a big deal and I went home and checked my catch can it wasn't completely full but it had a good amount so I drained it and got my oil changed the same day. I kept driving the car and noticed that under boost I was making a blue streak of smoke where ever I went and I started getting worried it took it to ford and they told me the reason was that my turbo was blown. I was shocked because the car was driving fine and I haven't really punched it in a while and since I was tuned it wouldn't be covered under warranty so it would be 2k to fix. So I then called Vargas turbo and got their stage one that was off of their shop car for a reasonable price and got it installed by a professional shop. To my amazement, the car was still smoking, however, there was a scraping sound coming from my old turbo so I didn't replace it for nothing. I then took it back to the dealership and told them that the turbo was replaced but the car is still smoking they took it in and said that they can't work on it cause of the Vargas turbo but I tried explaining to them that it couldn't possibly be the turbo and that they could phase that out of the diagnostic but they refuse to diagnose my car. I am taking the car to another dealership so I can at least figure out what is going on.
When the new turbo was installed I had all new spark plugs installed however the old plugs had a white crust on them and even with brand new plugs the car would misfire. I was wondering if anyone can give me any help as to what could be going on.
One more thing to note is that the throttle body still has oil in it even with the catch can and I don't know where it is coming from.
Please, any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
