Hello; Back many years ago my mother was putting 93 octane in a family sedan designed to run on regular. I pointed out she did not need the extra octane. Her response was she wanted the best gas and was willing to pay to get it. I shut up.I believe the owners manual says 87 is fine for a GT...your car, your cash, your decision!
I've only been putting in BP 93 octane.....please don't judge me
I get some on here want max HP and are willing to spend. Go for it. Others are fine with the lower HP as they do not even use all which is available on 87.
