Hydrodipping chrome?

Has anyone hydrodipped plastic parts in chrome paint? I want to 3d print a custom badge, and then turn it chrome.

It seems as though when using spray paint, the paint never fully dries, and a very thin clear coat is required to seal/harden the finished product. Which can then degrade the smoothness. Etc.

I have tried many of the "paint on" chrome sprays, and none were worth a crap. I would think hydrodipping would be the way to go, but have not tried it.
