HVAC Controls & Toggles Not Working??

I have searched this topic and found similar threads on this forum, but none seemed to have a solution to the problem, or they differ from the issues I am having. Car is a 2016 Mustang GT Premium with the Sync 3 System. All a sudden this last weekend the HVAC controls stopped working. The HVAC menu pops up on the screen through what seems like a glitch, but I am unable to turn it on or change anything such as fan speed or temperature. The buttons on the screen are blanked out. Driving around after like 20 minutes, I clicked the physical button, and it worked fine. I turned off the car to fill it up with gas and it didn’t work for the hour drive to my local track. On the way over there I noticed the all the toggles at the bottom didn’t work except for the Hazards. This is a problem because I was going to drag race and needed to be able to turn off the Traction Control (I ended up disconnecting the Dyno Plug and was able to race). Once we left the track I hit the physical button for the HVAC, and it turned right on and worked without any hiccups for the hour-long drive home. I got to my house late that night, turned off the car, re-started the car and hit the physical button and the HVAC turned on just fine. I did that a couple times with no issue. Sunday morning, I went and started the car and hit the physical button and nothing. The HVAC wouldn’t turn on again. This sounds like an electrical problem to me, and I have reset the Sync 3 System via the menu in the system as well as holding the forward and power button for 10s and the HVAC won’t turn on. I disconnected the battery for 30s; I also disconnected the two battery terminals and jumped them together in hopes to drain down the capacitors and still nothing. I am wondering if anyone has had this issue and gotten it resolved via checking fuses, relays, wiring harnesses, new modules (BCM, or APIM). The only thing I can think of is about a month ago I installed a new steering wheel on the car which made me mess with the harnesses that were in there and maybe one got pinched? The radio, dash menu buttons and cruise control work fine on the car. It’s just the physical HVAC buttons and the toggles below that are not working. I am going to take off the steering wheel and go through the install again to ensure I didn’t pinch a harness, but I find it weird that all the steering wheel controls and radio work fine. Any help would be much appreciated.
