The splitter goes on HR871 tomorrow. HR361 will get the splitter as soon as I can get the tow hook installed. I've been swamped with work, hurricanes, life. Man.....

Anyway, look for an update tomorrow with the progress.

Today I was up bright and early to take HR871 back to the dealership to accomplish some PDI items. Kent, the dealers Shelby specialist, took good care of her. I accomplished the road test, checked the fluids, and filled her up with fuel yesterday. Today, the spring shipping spacers were removed, splitter installed, and all the other laundry list items were accomplished. While that was being performed, I was working with the finance manager on the Ford Tire Care policy. The policy will cover wheels and tires for a period of 7 years with unlimited miles. That wound up costing 1K. I heard that it could be had for less, but I never heard back from any inquiries about it.

Here she is on the lift in the shop.

She is home again along side her sister, HR361.

When I get time, I plan to clay bar the entire car, and do a partial Xpel to cover items such as the hood, front end, and wheel debris impact areas. I don't think I will do the stripes again (like I did on HR361) because the matte black look is minimized even when you do the stripes in stealth (matte) Xpel.

So as projects are accomplished, I will update this page for those who have an interest.

Awesome shot! The AG looks so great on this car. $1k for 7 years of coverage on the wheels/tires is a great deal IMO.
