The ceramic coating sure makes the car (cars) SHINE. I haven't washed my car for a LONG time and have been stuck in some minor drizzles here in the NW, road grime, etc, etc. and the car still looks GLEAMING. 22ple was what was used at the shop I went to. . racking up any miles yet? Cali' dreaming for weather!!

After only one coat I could definitely see a difference in the black. When I dropped the car off it had 190.3 miles. Weather has been very "Seattle-like" so until it's completed, no additional miles. Hopefully, I'll have it back by this weekend.

***Update***
I picked the car up 12-21-16 and between work, some time away from work and chasing a now-walking 10 month old, updates have been few and far between. The weather has been less than cooperative and it took a couple weeks to pass before I could get the car out in the sun and give it a once over. I found a couple "opportunities for refinement" in the PPF and when I spoke with the team at Gold Wurks, they had just left town for a 2 week vacation. That brings me to yesterday. Took the car into Pinnacle to have these minor blems corrected and finally have the stripes covered. As many of you know, the stripes change width between the hood, nose, bumper and lower bumper so plotter cutting a single strip of Xpel Stealth (matte finish) isn't feasible. So I left the car to be completed and will pick it up in a week when I return from Orlando. I'll post another update once I nab the car on or around 2-3-17. Obligatory in-progress pics of stripping and reapplying a new sheet of Xpel Ultra.

And don't even get me started on the brake dust buildup on the wheels.. What a PITA

Very nice. One question, why did you put the ceramic pro under the PPF?

Let me clarify, while the entire nose was clear-bra'd, the CeramicPro was applied from the A pillars back. Sorry for the confusion.

stasik-a4 - I haven't forgotten about you or your request. It's been a busy weekend. I'll see if I can get a peek at that piece later today.

Interesting. I never noticed that on an R model before.

Interesting, I've never noticed that in R pics before.

Any details or better pics would be greatly appreciated, as I'm installing a C2C wing on my car soon and would like to source these parts if they provide a better fit or more secure mounting point.

Sorry for keeping you hanging stasik-a4. I have the pics on my phone as of tonight, but of course Mustang6g doesn't play well with Tapatalk. : / There are no part numbers visible but I have a couple close up pics regardless.

Mind PM'ing me your email?

Thanks,
Justin

Evening all! A couple of you have asked for detailed pictures of the R wing mounting hardware. Instead of replying to multiple emails, I figured I would share here for the community to review. If another R owner can speak to their car NOT having these items, please pipe up. It might be worth investigating the whys/why nots...

I ordered an R wing from Chris at Carbon2Carbon as well and forgot to ask him about these. I have a sense that they aren't available from Ford as individual parts...
