Device will not connect to car. Here's the things I have tried:
Resynced MPVI2 on laptop.
Cleared all Bluetooth settings on android phone.
Deleted TDN app and reinstalled.
I get the green light for power, press the Bluetooth button and it flashes fast but no RTD found.
It's driving me crazy. I'm working with Wengerd Performance. I have had several communications with them on tunes, updates, data logs etc... I went to change to the 93 tune and now nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried updating the firmware in the MVIP2 itself?

I have RTD one and on Samsung tablet would not connect no matter what I tried.

Changed device to LG Velvet and worked flawlessly.

Try a different android device...

I did update to the new HP Tuners software suite. I will have to check for a driver update. And a factory reset to the phone. MVI2 worked fine last week.

Make sure the BT speed in the app is set to full not experimental.

What you can do is plug it in to a computer so the RTD powers on. Then try to connect to it and do a firmware update on it. Your PCM on the car is fine. Its just a connection issue on the RTD.

when you go on a pc and access your account does it show the rtd as a registered device with the credits still there? i swapped rtd to mpvi3 and this happened. i unregistered in the account and re-registered it with the tdn app and my account then it started to work again.

My old MPVI2+ was not working properly for months. It took me a while to figure this out (using mine to program my 10R80).

Sent a datlog to HPT and they said all is good. I broke out my trusty old Ngauge and converted a file to enc and "BAM" all my changes I had made worked.

Send back my MPVi2+ and traded it in and paid for the MPV13 and all my program changes are now working. I say get the newer "3" version based on my experience.

I personally think HPT may do this on purpose, just like they recently stopped supporting the Ngauge.

I tune exclusively with an MPVI2+ and it’s been rock steady for about 4 years. No need to upgrade yet.

Yep, bought mine back in 18 and it still works. I have both my mach 1 and my explorer ST both tuned right now, and I just down graded the explorer last week because the wife is driving it.

I picked mine up in 2019. It was working great until I wanted to swap to a different tune.
It has lost its Bluetooth ability.
I have always taken good care of it.
