No doubt you're going to take a little ribbing from your friends. If they're anything life mine though, it won't be hard to shut them up. Most of them drive cameries and their wives drives CRVs. They would kill to be in your situation.

Whats up guys, well i ordered a EcoBoost premium with PP a few days ago. Now that i ordered that my girl/wife wants to order a 5.0, not to show me up but because shes always wanted a mustang. Her dad has 66 fastback and 69 chevelle SS so i understand why she would want one, but like c'mon im going to have an ecoboost and her a 5.0 it kind of makes me feel less of a man..


Basically how would you feel?

I'd only choose that engine if I was originally going to get the v6.

It does not compare to the v8. Apple's and oranges.

My friend a real man drives what ever the hell he wants and damn anyone else. Ive driven some real dogs compared to gf's nice whips before, and it just made everyone hate me that much more for keeping a honey like that. If you ordered a GT and she got a Shelby, would you then ditch the GT? Keeping the Ecoboost is showing the world that you bagged a baaaad girl and you didn't need to compensate for something small with a big engine. Male insecurity lol :headbonk:. If you buy a GT do it for any other reason but that. Think about the reasons you chose an EB.


If anyone asks why you have an EB when she drives a 5.0, tell them she likes riding big boys, and your not talking about your car

Thanks for all the responses guys, well to begin with I wanted a STI or Evo X... but before that I wanted a 2014 gt mustang, but lets keep in mind that I commute to work and my girlfriend doesnt. Of course first thing im going to do is slap on some bolt ons and an accessport and yes I will throw an exhaust system on her 5.0.. shes not really Into tunning/upgrades but her GT will be automatic and my eco will be manual. It sucks on my part, I feel like im bringing a knife to a gun fight lol but yeah im trying to convince her to get a new bmw 5series or a Lexus gs350. But if she doesnt like either I guess shes going to show me up untill I get myself a gt350 or 500. If she does get the 5.0 ill keep everyone posted with pics and mods. And of course im going to enjoy taking both to the track..

Better teach her stick though, how else will you trade cars every now and then?!
