I would also like to know how to do this. My car isn't smoking yet but if it does I would like to be able to easily find how to gut the pcv.

Link above shows it, you will need a catch can however. It is all covered in the blue smoke thread.

From what im getting from the pics is there is one valve, gut all springs and little metal piece that are inside of them after you clip it on the bottom so they can come out?

There is only one PVC valve , its in the side plate with clip like in the pic in above link.
What they did is once PVC is out of the side plate, they clipped the bottom of the PVC so all the guts can be removed.
So you end up with just a fitting , just a way to connect the hose .

As Adam mentioned don't do this unless your installing dirty side CC at same time or have it installed .

If your still not sure, maybe pick one up as backup in case you screw it up, but its pretty straight forward from description.

Dirty side cc by itself is not enough. Need a check valve as well to keep boost pressure out of the crankcase. The blue smoke thread explains it all.

Correct, my bad for not mentioning that, one of the dual valve CC would work .

Of course once you gut the PVC, you no longer have a PCV valve so need a check valve to take the place of PVC on the dirty side (vacuum/boost to IM one).

Use caution when altering the PCV system. There are SEVERAL cases where the car will produce a CEL for a now faulty crankcase sensor. It is not going to hurt anything, but it is annoying.
This is true but with a Cobb ap, you can have your tuner turn off that sensor

You guys talking about the sensor in the breather line from valve cover (back left) to turbo inlet ?

Funny, I think ford calls it EGR pressure feedback sensor or something .

Buying an extra is a good idea anyway. If you have to take your car in for a warranty issue with the engine, Ford could use a gutted PCV valve as grounds for claim denial. I would put a working PCV valve back in before bringing it to the dealer.
